Let me tell you a story. I launched my award winning eZine, Small Business Maverick Internet Marketing Secrets over two years ago. A year and a half ago, I met with a prospect to talk about creating a website for her. The timing wasn’t right at the time, so to make sure I stayed in touch with her I added her to my eZine subscriber list (with her permission, of course!)
A year and a half later, she called me out of the blue and told me that she was ready to go with her new website. She’d been getting my eZine for the past year and a half (and she had printed out every copy and saved them all in a folder); she said the value of the information I sent her each week convinced her that if what I sent out for free was that good, the stuff she would pay for would be even better!
There is nothing more powerful in terms of your sales process than the ability to follow-up and stay top-of-mind in your prospect’s minds. Studies have shown that it takes 7 impressions of your brand before your prospect will make a decision to purchase from you.
Who do you think has the better chance of selling to that prospect – someone who has barely contacted them since they first spoke, or the smart marketer who has sent a friendly eZine every week filled with valuable tips and information?

We set-up your eZine template within Constant Contact, customizing it to match the look and feel of your website or your offline branding. This is very important – if you want your prospects to recognize your brand when you send them your eZine, you want to make sure it matches the rest of your materials. Don’t just use on “off the shelf” template when you can have a custom branded template.
Then we’ll schedule a web meeting (don’t worry – I’ll set that up and it’s easy), where I’ll show you the ins-and-outs of using Constant Contact. Where to get ideas for your newsletter, how to enter your text, where and how to get subscribers for your newsletter, how to schedule your mailings so that they go out on schedule (even when you’re on vacation), and so much more.
